ABOUT ME
I specialise in teaching beginner children between 4 - 11 years old to build foundational music skills.
I work with your child's psychological development in music and nurture your child's creativity and confidence for sharing music they love.
My lessons also include singing and music games.
Eventually, we will do piano duet with Disney songs etc.
I teach using Solfege (do re mi) and musical notes (C D E F G A B).
I organise one to two concerts per year. This helps to build their confidence and motivate them to practice. My pupils come to my place for a rehearsal a few weeks before the concert, so that they can practise performing as well as make new friends.
I charge £35/30min £53/45m at my place in W11 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and £40/30min £58/45min for travelling to your home around Notting Hill Gate on Sundays.
As a former child pupil and mother of two, it is really important to see if your child enjoys learning with me, and so please contact me for a trial.
I have grade 8 ABRSM in Piano and a BA in Ethnomusicology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London.
I also studied music therapy at Colorado State University.
