Workshop details

  • MIP2020 is ONline! This online edition features two keynote talks by distinguished speakers and the popular MIP student poster session. It will provide the opportunity to learn about the latest research developments in our community, and it will be a fun way to keep in touch and network.
  • Date and time: May 18, 2020, 9am-12:30pm (PDT), 12:00pm-3:30pm (EDT), 6pm-9:30pm (CEST)
  • Keynote speakers:
  • You can ask questions at any point during the keynote talks, by typing your question in the chat to the panelists. The moderator will select the most often-cited questions and will be posing them to our speakers at the end of the talks.
  • Student Poster Session: 32 presentations in 5 parallel streams. Each poster presentation takes about 10 minutes and is followed by a 5-minute Q&A during which one can switch rooms. To join a poster room, click on the Zoom ID link provided in the detailed program. Don't forget to vote for your favorite poster!
  • To get back to the main webinar after the poster session, you will have to follow the individual link provided in the confirmation of your MIP2020 registration or in the reminder email.
  • Please join the Slack Workspace created for MIP 2020, it's free: http://tiny.cc/hb55oz. There, you can join other participants for discussing ideas, talks and MIP before and during the event, and for a virtual social gathering with games afterwards!
  • MIP2020’s originally scheduled speakers and the DANniversary workshop will be a part of MIP 2021 and will be held at DIMACS. Registration fees for both MIP and the MIP dinner will be refunded to your credit card. DIMACS will initiate the refund and you will receive an email when this occurs. The refund should appear on your credit card statement roughly two weeks thereafter. If you have questions or need assistance please contact Nicole Clark at DIMACS.
