Michelle Vick

Welcome!

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Brown University. My research interests range from exoplanets to compact objects.  Recently, my work has focused on the irradiation instability in protoplanetary disks and on how tides shape eccentric systems.

Previously, I was a CIERA Lindheimer Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University. Before that, I was a graduate student at Cornell University, where I completed my Ph.D. under the mentorship of Dong Lai.  Three years of my thesis work were funded by a NASA Earth and Space Science Fellowship.
