 MDUSD Counseling Mission Statement

We believe that all MDUSD students should have the ability to participate in rigorous, high-quality education programs that prepare them to be successful citizens of the larger community! The MDUSD Counseling program facilitates student support through program practices and partnerships with the school, family and community.  The mission of the counseling program of the Mt Diablo Unified School District is to support, enhance and meet our students’ social, emotional, academic and career development needs. By serving all students TK-12, the counseling program provides age-appropriate services, removes barriers, and gives all students the opportunity to follow their own path and discover new possibilities on the journey to graduation, college and career.
