Welcome to my personal academic website!

I am a PostDoc in Strategic Management and Innovation at ETH Zürich with a PhD in Business Administration from Ghent University, Belgium.

My main stream of research focuses on knowledge sourcing for innovation, with a specific emphasis on the collection and integration of knowledge to innovate across organizational boundaries to drive innovation. My work examines how several factors interrelate with firms' knowledge-sourcing practices in nurturing innovation, such as country-level knowledge endowments and intellectual property rights. Additionally, I delve into the aspect of location diversity in firms' knowledge-sourcing practices, as an alternative strategy to drive knowledge diversity during the innovation process. My recent projects also stress the importance of timing in knowledge-sourcing activities, highlighting how firms can distribute their attention over time to knoweldge sourcing and integration to continuously arrive at impactful innovation. 

Besides innovation, I also work on entrepreneurial finance, in particular, on impact investing and crowdfunding.
