What is the HSA?
The Home & School Association (HSA) is a group of parents, caregivers, and school staff working together to make our school the best it can be.
Our Purpose:
Build a strong, welcoming community for families, teachers, and students
Organize fun events and activities that bring people together
Support teachers and classrooms with volunteers and resources
Raise funds to help provide extras that enrich our children’s school experience
When families and the school work side by side, our kids benefit the most. The HSA is one of the best ways to get involved, meet other families, and make a difference in everyday school life.
We meet the Third Wednesday of every month on Zoom at 7pm (unless otherwise stated). The whole school community is invited to learn about our initiatives and be part of our work.

People
We are families, neighbors, teachers, and friends who believe in the power of community. The HSA is not just a parent group—it’s a circle of people who bring their whole selves: our diversity, our care for one another, our love of adventure, and our shared responsibility to raise kind, curious kids. We honor each other’s voices and walk together in stewardship of our school, our earth, and our community.
Place
Our story is rooted in Germantown. From tree-lined parks and historic houses to bustling blocks and hidden gardens, this is a neighborhood built on connection. Lingelbach is part of a larger community with deep roots and open doors—a place where the past shapes the present and where families gather to learn, play, and grow together.
Projects
We believe small steps create big change. Over the years, our community has brought Forest Days to life, tended the Sunken Garden, championed a new playground, and are piloting projects like traffic calming around the school. Each project is sparked by parents and neighbors who see a need and work together to meet it. We’re always asking: what’s next? What’s the next joyful idea we can turn into reality?
Partnerships
None of this happens alone. We thrive because of the relationships we’ve built—with teachers, local organizations, neighborhood leaders, and families who show up. These partnerships allow us to dream bigger, dig deeper, and create lasting experiences for our kids and our community. Together, we make Lingelbach not just a school, but a heartbeat of Germantown.
