Wisconsin is my home! Traveling and living throughout the states, I continue to find my way home. I grew up in Chippewa Falls, WI and roughly 10 years ago moved to Langlade County; and reside in Antigo. I continue to be amazed by the pure beauty of Langlade County. Abundance of public land to explore, wild rivers and endless biking opportunities. When I began to call Antigo home 10 years ago, my biking mindset went from XC racing to adventure biking. I set out to purposefully getting lost on my bike and discovering the trails of Langlade County. Gravel, pavement, deer trails, bushwhacking- nothing was off limits. Exploring without boundaries and taking time to appreciate your surroundings; that’s the joy of biking for me. Discover the joy and discover Langlade County!

I was born and raised in central Wisconsin and my first teaching job was just northeast here in Antigo. After a year of commuting from Wausau, I relocated to Langlade County. I was a bit unsure how the move would go, but I've been here nearly five years now and still continue to find new areas to explore. Brady and George have both been instrumental in my exploration and adventures in the area. Riding has always been an outlet and provided so much balance for me - my vision for this was to create an event to bring people to the community and showcase the trails, roads, and forests of Langlade County while simultaneously raising funds for my community. Come explore my new home that is Langlade County!

Start & Finish Venue

Thirsty Bear Pub

W10968 County Rd J

Deerbrook, WI 54424

Nestled just north of Antigo, Thirsty Bear Pub is a unique establishment in the heart of the Bogus Swamp. Surrounded by small lakes and natural areas, this location provides a great start/finish for our event, while also providing a welcoming atmosphere for post-race festivities. Well known for their pizzas, you'll also find great, regularly rotated beers on tap inside this hidden gem.

Nearby, be sure to check out Jack Lake and Veteran's Memorial Park, which features mountain bike, snowshoe, and cross country ski trails. In addition, the area features a variety of campsites and additional trails, waterways, and logging roads. This beautiful spot also connects sections of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
