Erosion- The wearing away of the land.
Germinate- To start growing.
Habitat- The place where an organism lives.
Insectivore- An animal that eats insects.
Mammal- A warm-blooded animal that has fur and gives birth to live young
Nectar- A sweet liquid that flowers produce.
Omnivore- An animal that eats both plants and animals.
Photosynthesis- The process by which plants use sunlight to make food.
Pollination- The transfer of pollen from one flower to another.
Predator- An animal that hunts and eats other animals.
Prey- An animal that is hunted and eaten by other animals.
Reptile- A cold-blooded animal with scales.
Shrub- A woody plant that is shorter than a tree.
Soil- The top layer of the earth that plants grow in.
Water cycle- The process by which water moves from the Earth's surface to the atmosphere and back again.
