Community Beautification

     This activity is one of the most rewarding; challenging you to make your neighborhood look a little better!  As a nature lover, you already know how wonderful it is to spend time outside, enjoying beautiful open spaces!   We all want our neighborhoods to look as beautiful as your favorite park, and you may have noticed an area that needs cleaning up! So, get some garbage bags and gloves and get started making your neighborhood better!  

     If you want to plant flowers or other plants in addition to picking up trash, you will need to talk to those in charge at the locations you want to beautify, and ask permission to do so. 

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Take a photo of what the area looked like before the cleanup and an after photo to show your good deed!

  •  PATHFINDERS:  Write one paragraph describing your beautification project.  Parents may assist if necessary.

  • TRAILBLAZERS & ADVENTURERS:  Write at least two paragraphs describing your beautification project.
