MSc. Environmental Policy
I am a climate policy and green finance specialist. I have been working for twelve years on topics related to these two fields, across the public and private sector and in academia. I work with governments and central banks towards scaling up green finance and investments; and I currently focus on Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia at the Organisation for Economic Development and Cooperation.
This report is the outcome of me getting stuck in the topic of financial access in a developing country, in the context of assessing appetite for and use of green financial products amongst private households.
Here I present analysis on the environmental impacts of COVID-19 spending measures. I reviewed more than 300 fiscal and financial COVID-19 recovery measures on their environmental impact in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
