It began with a simple craving for the taste of home. We revitalized abandoned farmland in Abiko, Chiba, to grow what was hard to find in Japan. Today, we produce over 30 varieties of Indian vegetables, adapted to the local climate. We are a farm that grows vegetables from the perspective of those who eat them.
Gwar (Cluster Bean): A Surprise from Japanese Soil While typically imported, our locally-grown Gwar offers a level of freshness and quality that imports simply cannot match. From germination to seed saving, we ensure every bean meets the authentic standards our community deserves.
By farming close to the consumer market and utilizing natural resources like rice bran and compost, we cut out middlemen and excessive costs. We don't sell "luxury"; we provide steady, fresh, and affordable vegetables through cooperation between producers and consumers.
The True Cucumber: Beyond the Supermarket Standard :The cucumbers typically found in Japanese supermarkets are not "real" cucumbers to you. Through natural cultivation that respects the seasons, we grow "that cucumber" from your memories of India—the authentic taste you hold in your heart.
In accordance with Japanese law (Organic JAS), we do not use the term "Organic" without formal certification. We prioritize transparency and legal compliance.
However, our internal benchmark goes beyond mere chemical-free labels. We focus on "Ahimsa" (Non-violence)—a commitment to protecting the biological integrity of the soil microbiome and the Karma of those who consume our vegetables.
To ensure a stable supply of high-quality vegetables, we follow a "Minimum Intervention" policy. Chemical interventions are strictly limited to cases where the entire harvest is at risk, and only at levels that have negligible impact on the soil ecosystem. It is our pragmatic solution for sustainable food production in Japan.
