Freija van Lent

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Analytics and Digitalisation at Maastricht University. My research lies at the intersection of applied mathematical modelling, data analysis, combinatorial optimization and algorithmic game theory. I develop models and algorithms for pricing, sustainable logistics, health economics and policy design, with particular interest in how individual incentives shape system-level outcomes.

My current research includes geometric envy-free pricing, periodic scheduling in inland waterway transport and multi-level models for equitable agricultural value chains.
