Announcements, meet details and results, practice schedule, photos, etc. will be posted on this site weekly, and sometimes daily during the cross country season, and periodically throughout the off season generally beginning in May/June. Please bookmark this site and use this site as your main source of the most current information. Anything underlined and in blue on this page is a clickable link.
Weekly updates are sent beginning mid to late August and going through November to the address used for registration and provided on the parent-athlete survey. If you are not receiving emails, please email FLBCC.boosterclub@gmail.com with your name, email, and athlete's name. Past communications can be found under Quick Links.

SAVE THE DATE FOR THE ANNUAL CAMPING TRIP!
We will be camping at Interstate State Park on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. General schedule is check in by 3:30/4 PM on Tuesday with tent sent up, team activities and dinner; Pick up around 10 AM on Wednesday after team activities and breakfast.
All athletes should be in the GroupMe to get updates. Email Coach Richardson at arichardson@flaschools.org to join it.

KEY DATES COMING UP FOR THE 2024 SEASON

June 2024: Captain's Practice Begins
July 2024: Fall Sports Registration Opens
August 12, 2024 (M): Coach's practice begins and team breakfast immediately following practice
August 20, 2024 (Tu): Annual Camping Trip takes place the week of the 12th or 19th.
August 2024: Last week of August is usually the first race of the season

REGISTER NOW..Athletic/Activity Registration: Fall Sports and Activities Registration opened on July 10, 2023. Please see our Activities website for team websites as well as a quick link to register on SmartSchool K-12. Our Activities website is: rangers.flaschools.org. Please make sure your child's sports physical is up to date. The registration system will stop you if it is not current through the season. Please turn in the clearance form to the HS Activities office at door #32 or email it to: jberg@flaschools.org.

RESOURCES: It is highly encouraged to go to a running store, rush as The Running Room or Twin Cities Running Company and get a free assessment to be sure you have the proper shoes. Most running stores give discounts to students in cross country, and in many cases you can find last years colors at discounted prices.
