Details about the roles and responsibilities of different local offices.
Why do we need this?
By giving candidates the opportunity to complete a common questionnaire, everyone will have a way to see different candidates' priorities and viewpoints.
The purpose is to increase awareness and access to election information by creating one page with clear information about different positions, when they are elected, and how to get on the ballot.
Who is running this?
This page and the questionnaire were started by two Fairfax residents, Alice Scannell and Pat LaClair. Our intent is for both the questionnaire and the website to grow and evolve based on input and feedback from other Fairfax voters. Please reach out to us if you would like to get involved!
What is the political view of this site?
This site to be a non-partisan resource focused on increasing awareness and access to information about upcoming elections. We reach out to all candidates for local office to invite and encourage them to complete the questionnaire. The candidates' views are their own.
