FARHAN  ABEDIN

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Lafayette College. Before coming to Lafayette, I held postdoctoral positions at the University of Utah and Michigan State University.

I received my PhD from Temple University in 2018. Prior to that, I obtained my Masters degree from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2013, and my Bachelors degree from Lafayette College in 2011.

My research aims to understand the quantitative behavior of solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations, primarily of elliptic and parabolic type. Links to my papers can be found in the Research page.

I have taught a variety of undergraduate math courses at multiple institutions. Please refer to the Teaching page for more information.
