Welcome. I am Ethan Epling, a basketball coach and athletic developer committed to pushing the boundaries of high school and youth basketball. The modern game is not played at a walking pace, and my programs reflect that reality. I specialize in building high-motor athletes capable of executing complex, full-court defensive traps and transition offenses for 32 straight minutes. The Novinger Wildcats are thrilled to officially introduce Ethan Epling as our new Head Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 season!

A massive culture shift has arrived in Adair County. Coach Epling is bringing an absolute "DOG" mentality to the hardwood, preparing to unleash a relentless, fast-paced "Chaos" system designed to put the entire Tri-County Conference on notice.

Building a championship-caliber program requires complete collaboration. Alongside Assistant Coach J.C. Amey and a fully integrated coaching staff, Coach Epling is actively establishing a foundation built on grit, extreme defensive pressure, and total team unity.

At the core of this new era is the defining motto of our program:

"Sometimes ME, Sometimes YOU… ALWAYS US!"
