The Bible is the cornerstone of our content. We teach solid interpretation of scripture: rooted in history and culture but focused on spiritual truths and life application.
We invite students in grades 1-12 to take part in mixed age groups, and participants love it. It truly becomes a family affair, just as faith formation should be.
We invite participants from all Christian traditions, but our Catholic roots show in our sacramental emphasis and focus on the lives of the saints.
We seek to develop the whole person by requiring active, critical reading and thinking, fostering confident speaking, and honoring the choices and challenges of each family.
"I love that every night my elementary aged daughter wants to pray and teach her younger sister what she learned about. This truly makes me so happy to see her carrying on with what she has learned and how she is trying to help others understand."
"Both of our elementary aged boys love to share their findings with the group during the Zoom meetings and also enjoy hearing how others have connected to the stories and Saints. Our family prayer time has been a time for us to connect and find peace, especially with everything that is going on in the world. Our entire family is learning more about God and growing our faith together. We really look forward to watching the videos. This class has been a blessing!"
"I love seeing how my three teens relate the stories to their everyday lives and learn from them. My younger children would ask for help when they didn't understand and my eldest child loved to help them find their connection to their story. I have been able to be closer to my children as we learn together and I look forward to continuing to be a part of this journey."
"We enjoyed listening to our high school daughter's teachings and prayed the Hail Mary as a family over dinner. It brought us closer together as a family and we felt God's presence in our home. In continuing our walk with God, we are planning to make him a larger part of our family by doing daily family prayers."
