David C. Rothman Award

The David C. Rothman Award for the Protection of American Democracy recognizes a team at a nonprofit organization that is effectively reducing and preventing the concentration of power and its corrupting effects on American democracy. It will be awarded from 2021 to 2030.

Nominations may be any nonprofit organization. Each year a small group of nominees is invited to apply based on a desk review of information on nominees. The application process is intentionally simple and straightforward: At a time when our democracy is in peril, we want to reward good work, not elaborate applications. `
