Dawn Caldwell is the author of the Tales Retold series of historical fiction for elementary and young adolescent students. Tales Retold follows Layla, a small mouse living in an antique store, through time and space as she relives exciting historical events. These events are retold with as much historical accuracy as possible while weaving an intriguing story and sharing interesting fun facts about our past. There are currently two published books in the series. Dawn is working on the third.
