As you explore several implemented lessons, you will recognize that social studies is not just facts and memorization. It becomes a subject of connections, exploration, and critical thinking. Students are encouraged to broaden their world view of society as they explore interpersonal  and intrapersonal development.  Through this concept, my classroom becomes a safe and welcoming environment for students to learn, communicate, and apply understandings in a diverse learning culture.
