Hello! I'm running for a seat on the School Board for Winona Area Public Schools! My goals as a School Board member are to:
put our students' learning and well-being first
support our educators and staff
increase safety and security of students, educators, staff, and visitors to school buildings
collaborate with Winona community members/groups/organizations and educational institutions as a way to offer our students the best education as we prepare them for success
advocate for students, families, educators, staff, and community members
increase communication between our Winona community and the School Board and school district; make sure that students/families/educators/community have a voice in the school district
Prepared to serve our students, families, educators, staff, and community!
Our students need a first-rate education
Students of all abilities, socio-economic classes, races, etc. should have access to a first-rate education and caring educators who prepare them for life after high school.
Whether they go to college, go into the trades, or enter the workforce, our students need to be well-rounded; they need knowledge, skills, and tools to help them succeed and be productive community members.
