Corrin Clemons is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of California, Davis in the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department. Her primary research studies the transport of greenhouse gases in complex environments (freshwater bodies, forests, etc.) under advisor, Dr. Holly Oldroyd. She also engages in engineering education research under Dr. Glaucia Prado, investigating the impact of a wellness course on engineering students' emotional intelligence.

Corrin completed her bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2021. During this time, she pursued interests in environmental health and sustainability at the San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District and Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture. She also briefly interned with the California Air Resources Board after beginning her graduate education before joining the Oldroyd Lab to focus her studies on ecosystem-scale carbon fluxes to improve land/air/water resource management. 

Corrin enjoys working with students and has a passion for engineering education. She has served as a teaching assistant for fluid mechanics, engineering hydraulics, water resources simulation, and senior design courses, working with students in small group to full discussion settings. Corrin invites undergraduate students to join in her research, mentoring them individually in the lab and in the field as part of the Environmental Dynamics Laboratory and through the UC Davis E-SEARCH program.

Corrin works in collaboration with the Tahoe Environmental Research Center, Santa Clara Valley Water District, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and CAL FIRE to pursue her research and degree objectives.
