Colin Defant

About Me

I am an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow and Benjamin Peirce Fellow at Harvard University. 

I earned my Ph.D. at Princeton University in 2022 under the direction of Noga Alon. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I was an NSF postdoc at MIT. I'm broadly interested in combinatorics, especially when it's enumerative, algebraic, or dynamical. During the summers of 2017-2022, I have worked as an advisor at the Duluth Mathematics REU Program. I was a co-director for this program in the summer of 2023.
