My name is Claire Parquier. I’m 30 years old, originally from France, and recently relocated to Leipzig. Trained as a computer science engineer (Informatikingenieurin), I would be delighted to offer tutoring in any subject (preferably scientific, but not mandatory) in French or English — whether to support schoolwork or simply to introduce a new language in a fun, engaging, and relaxed way.
I have over 15 years of experience in education, tutoring students aged 6 to 22 across a range of school subjects, with a focus on scientific disciplines such as mathematics, computer science, and physics. During my studies, I spent a semester teaching French in South Korea, and later worked part-time as a computer science teacher in France. After graduating and working several years in the tech industry, I transitioned to academia, becoming a full-time university lecturer in algorithms — teaching in both French and English for five years.
I bring strong pedagogical skills, in-depth subject expertise, and a sincere passion for helping learners grow in confidence and curiosity.
I am fluent in French (native) and English (C2), currently learning German (A1), and also speak some Russian (A2).
If you’re looking for a reliable, experienced, and multilingual tutor, feel free to reach out with any questions or to arrange a first meeting!
