Chicago Area JWST Proposal Workshops
In preparation for the General Observer (GO) Cycle 1 proposal call, we will be hosting workshops at UChicago & Northwestern to familiarize participants with the instrument modes of JWST and the tools required to submit a proposal.
Both workshops will feature an overview of observing modes, STScI resources & tools, and the proposal process; as well as hands-on practice with target visibility tools, the Exposure Time Calculator (ETC), and the Astronomer's Proposal Tool (APT).
