A Tribute to a Special Dog
Wen adopted Chewy, estimated to be 8 months old, from Broward Humane Society in late November 2019. He was rescued from Puerto Rico, and quickly became a cherished companion to both humans and furry friends.Â
Unfortunately, on the evening of November 9, 2023, Chewy's life was tragically cut short in a hit-and-run vehicle accident. The driver didn't stop, leaving Wen heartbroken and devastated. In honor of Chewy's memory, Wen created this website to share and remember his story.

A heartfelt thank you extends to VCA Cabrera Animal Hospital, where Dr. Valentin, Yesenia, Monica, Jade, and others embraced Chewy's unique personality and provided him with compassionate care and attention for 4 years.
Gratitude also to Doral Centre Animal Hospital, where Dr. Omar and the staff worked tirelessly on the night of the hit-and-run accident, attempting to revive Chewy.
