I'm running for Village Trustee to serve the entirety of Cottage Grove, not just my neighborhood. I want to see our community grow in the years to come, without sacrificing our wonderful parks or our vital services. I believe we can move away from being "a village of No", not by rubber-stamping every development offer but by making sure that proposals fit our goals.
I intend to help lead our village with responsible, data-driven decisions. I respect expert opinions and community voices alike, and I will put the truth above my personal views. I look forward to serving you, no matter your outlook or your needs, and helping Cottage Grove continue to be one of the best places to live.
Broaden our tax base to avoid huge levy increases
Maintain both our essential services (water/sewer, EMS, fire) and our community benefits (parks & recreation, library programming)
Avoid resorting to referendum spending
Welcome development that meets our needs and contributes rather than burdens our village
