Carli Kennett

Hi! I’m Carli Kennett, a digital creator and brand storyteller with a love for creative communication.

I graduated from Michigan State University in 2025 with a degree in Journalism and Media Relations. During my coursework, I focused on Photography, Visual Media Design and Public Relations.

Right now, I’m working as a Marketing Assistant with Legends Global at Van Andel Arena, DeVos Place, DeVos Performance Hall, Acrisure Amphitheater and Amway Stadium in Grand Rapids, Mich. and as a Marketing Communications Intern for Choose Lansing and the Lansing Sports Commission. I also run my own business, Carli K Creates, as a freelance portrait photographer.

I’m passionate about digital media creation, social media storytelling, videography, and graphic design; my true love is the live entertainment industry.

Originally from Grand Rapids, Mich. I’m currently based in East Lansing. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me reading, exploring the outdoors, watching sports, or catching a concert. Take a look at my website to see what I've created!
