The Canton Church of Christ, a non-denominational fellowship in Canton, Pennsylvania, is prayerfully seeking a Pastor to lead our congregation in spiritual growth, Biblical teaching, and community outreach.

We are looking for a Pastor committed to faith, having a personal relationship with God, one who preaches effectively, has strong leadership skills, and has a passion for guiding the congregation in spiritual growth. The Pastor serves as the spiritual leader of the church. Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Pastor's overall responsibility is to lead congregants in a closer and deeper relationship with Christ, while demonstrating character traits consistent with 1 Timothy 3:1-7: above reproach, self-controlled and temperate, hospitable, able to teach, and respected by outsiders.

·         Warm and active congregation with average Sunday attendance of about 50.

·         Blended worship featuring traditional hymns, praise music, choir, and weekly communion.

·         Seven Sunday School classes serving all ages.

·         Historic church facility with significant updates, including a handicap accessible fellowship hall entrance.

·         Strong community ministries including Feed My Lambs, G.O.D. (Gleaning Outreach Ministry), Prayer Shawl Ministry, and more.

·         Located in a welcoming small-town community of 1,600 residents, serving approximately 7,000 people within a 10-mile radius.

Qualifications

·         Minimum of 3 years of Christian leadership experience, including preaching and leadership responsibilities.

·         Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, Ministry Leadership, or a related field preferred (or equivalent ministry experience).

·         Commitment to ongoing learning and spiritual development.

·         Ability to pass background checks.

·  Digitally literate and adaptable to modern workplace tools.
