Fruit Sales Ends September 28!
I raise puppies as my SAE project for FFA. This is something that I am really passionate about because of my love of animals, especially dogs. I am currently a freshman at Salisbury High school and plan to attend MIT in Rolla, MO to major in software development and minor in interior design.
There has been times where we are all just like, "Why can't someone make it to where I can do this at the click of a button?" Well, with certain tasks, you can. The following are my top five favorite apps to use whenever I am with my puppy.
If you have a fur baby then you should definitely have this app readily available. It’s loaded with information on emergency medical situations, first aid, general health issues, demonstration videos (including dog CPR), a section to store your fur baby’s information, follow-up quizzes, and lots of advice. I highly recommend this app. It’s a must-have!
Gain peace of mind while you keep track of your pooch with this GPS tracking app. It will track your pooch in real-time, trace his path, and show where he’s been. You can set boundaries and make your own safe zone where you’ll be alerted if he happens to leave the area. This app is a must-have on your phone. Share it with friends and family so that if someone is walking your pooch you can always pinpoint where they are. Plus, the app is free!
At work or on the go? With this app, your canine kids are always close by, you just need to reach for your smartphone. You’ll be alerted when he’s barking and you can talk to him over the audio as you watch the real-time video. Want to see what he’s up to when he’s not barking? Watch via live streaming video. The app works on wifi or cellular and requires no other connections. No worries about security, because the connection is encrypted by SSL.

How great it this? Just by taking your canine kids out for a walk you’ll be able to support your local animal charity. All you have to do is use the app each time you walk your dog. The app will track and map your walk. Giving to your local animal organization can’t get any easier than this. How’s that for motivation?! Remember, the more you walk, the more fit you and your pooch will become and the more $$$ will be donated to your cause.
This app is not only an informational resource, but it can be a lot of fun too. The app description boasts that it’ll help you find, “dog-friendly people and dog-friendly places.” It offers you 10 categories to choose from for your search. There’s also a social component where people can connect and interact via a newsfeed to share their adventures. Whether you are looking for dog parks, lodging, veterinarians, outdoor activities, pets stores, and services – this app’s got you covered.
