Approach to Providing Unbundled Legal Services:
I have practiced in Provincial and Supreme Court all around the province. I understand that legal fees are affordable for many people, and that providing bundled services are necessary.
I have provided bundled services to many clients in the past, from preparing court documents and legal arguments, to coaching clients on negotiation with the opposing party.
Mediation: I have taken family mediation training and have conducted 5 or fewer mediations in the last five years. I have acted as counsel in 11 – 15 mediations in the last 5 years.
Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation:
I have experience attending mediation as counsel, and I have completed the necessary to training act a mediator.
With my knowledge of the mediation process, I am comfortable advising clients on attending mediation without a lawyer, and I am willing to be available by phone during the mediation if necessary, and can provide independent legal advice on an agreement reached at mediation.
I am also able to advise on other alternative dispute resolution options such as collaborative law, mediation-arbitration, parenting coordination and arbitration.
