Approach to Providing Unbundled Legal Services:

I am happy to provide select services having regard to the client's budget of both time and financial resources.  I encourage clients to do as much as they can on their own with guidance as to relevance, to not only get very familiar with the facts they need to get the result they desire, but to understand where the areas of conflict actually exist.  This helps narrow the focus on what is important and what a decision maker needs in order to resolve matters - whether it be the client themselves in negotiations directly with the other party or in mediation, a court, or an arbitrator. 

I am also prepared to be evaluative in advising if a particular issue or approach to an issue is a good use of legal resources.

Mediation:  I have family mediation training and also act as a mediator. In the last 5 years I have acted as counsel in more than 30 mediations. In the last 5 years I have conducted 21 – 30 mediations as mediator.
