Approach to Providing Unbundled Legal Services:
I am a firm believer in litigants maintaining autonomy and control in their family law matters, and that with knowledge and coaching comes greater understanding and power. My approach is to act as a resource for the litigant, helping them navigate the legal landscape, while equipping them with the tools to advocate for themselves. Additionally, it is my approach to ensure, where possible, costs are kept to a minimum to ensure the continued accessibility of legal services.
Mediation: I do not have family mediation training. However, I have represented clients at mediation on a variety of legal issues.
Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation:
I approach mediation from a position of reasonableness, compassion, and cooperation. My aim is always to prioritize my client's interests, and if any children, their interests, assess this against the reality of the facts and acknowledge the opposing party's position to ensure each party feels heard. This approach attempts to ensure that the decision reached is fact-based, and as mutually beneficial as feasible based on the facts.

Cultural Diversity Experience:
I have ongoing experience acting as a resource, and advocating for people living with vulnerabilities. Prior to my legal experience, I worked specifically with single mothers facing economic vulnerability and family violence, from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Additionally, I continue to represent clients from varied cultural backgrounds in their family law matters.
