Approach to Providing Unbundled Legal Services:

I offer an initial consultation, which may include review of any relevant documents, and will determine with the client what services they require and what fee structure will best suit their needs. I offer flat rates for specific services, such as cohabitation or separation agreements and desk order divorce applications. I also offer unbundled services for the preparation of court documents, arguments, mediation briefs, or Lists of Documents, to assist clients at various steps in the litigation process.

Mediation:  I have not taken family mediation training. I have conducted 16-20 family mediations as counsel in the last 5 years.

Approach to Supporting Clients in Mediation

I meet with my clients in advance of mediation to thoroughly review their case and legal positions, and to prepare them for what to expect during the mediation process. We typically will determine a range of outcomes that would be acceptable to them in anticipation of negotiating a resolution. If the client wishes for me to attend, I work collaboratively with them throughout the mediation to advise them and come up with solutions to settle the claim. I also offer services to review minutes of settlement and create separation agreements based on the terms agreed upon during mediation.
