  • After that, the users are suggested to choose the wireless network which they want to extend.

  • Then click on the “Next” option once done.

Note: The users are suggested to refresh if the network is not on the list.

Steps to Reset Belkin Range Extender’s default settings

Via Reset Button

  • Note: The position of the reset button varies from model to model.

  • After that, the users are advised to press and hold the reset button for at least 10 seconds.

  • Note: Make sure that the extender is turned ON while pressing the reset button.

  • Now the status light on the extender will flash and will begin to blink.

  • Ensure that the system used to access the web-based Belkin setup page is connected to the same network as the range extender.

  • The users are required to identify the IP address that the router has assigned to the range extender.

  • The users can find this by accessing the router’s DHCP client table.

  • Once the user gets the range extender’s assigned IP address, they can now access the range extender’s setup page.

  • If the range extender has not detected a DHCP server in the network, they can type “https://192.168.206.1” in the browser’s address bar to perform the reset procedure.

Steps to reset via Web-based setup page

  • The users are advised to tap on the “Utilities” option and then go to “Restore Factory Defaults” on the range extender’s setup page.

  • Note: The user may be asked to login with the range extender’s admin password. However, if not set yet, leave the field blank and click on the “Submit” option.

  • After that, locate and hit on the “Restore Factory Defaults” button.
