Beausejour Daylily Gardens are display gardens for daylilies, lilies, irises, peonies, ornamental trees and shrubs, and fruit trees. From humble beginnings in 2002, the Beausejour Daylily Gardens has become a world-class showcase of 700 Daylily cultivars, hundreds of Irises, Peonies, Lilies, and many ornamental shrubs and trees. As an ADS display garden, its purpose is to educate the public and showcase modern daylily cultivars, as well as featuring Heritage Daylilies.
The two-acre park at the north entrance to Beausejour, 950 First Street North, is the only official American Daylily society (ADS) display garden on the Canadian prairies, and is known as the coldest ADS on the planet.
The Gardens are a 3B hardiness zone site that showcases modern daylilies, peonies, and irises as well as ornamental shrubs and fruit trees. We have haskaps, grapes, cherries, apricots, pear and apple trees.
Improvements to the Gardens are due to efforts from volunteers, private contributions, fundraising and grant programs. Many visitors enjoy the Beausejour Daylily Gardens every year. Sign our guest book each time you visit the Gardens. We appreciate your comments and suggestions.
