Aya Narunsky

I am a postdoctoral associate in Ronald Breaker's lab at the department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, Yale University. I use computational biology to study various aspects of biomolecular interactions involving proteins and nucleic acids. In my PhD and post-doctoral studies, I focused on biophysical and evolutionary aspects of these interactions and developed tools to investigate them. In my future research, I intend to implement the skills I have acquired and the insights I obtained from my previous studies to investigate the evolution of protein-RNA complexes and interactions, both in the primordial RNA World and in the biological complexes of current-day cells.
