Chemical reactions are fundamental to many aspects of modern life, from materials to medicine. Among them, photochemical reactions have emerged as powerful tools that enable highly selective and efficient transformations by harnessing the energy of light. Our research focuses on the development of novel photochemical reactions and their applications in medicinal chemistry.
We aim to design and optimize light-driven organic transformations that can access complex molecular architectures under mild conditions. In particular, we are interested in applying these methodologies to the synthesis and modification of bioactive compounds, with the goal of contributing to drug discovery and development. Through interdisciplinary approaches, we strive to expand the toolbox of modern organic synthesis and address challenges in pharmaceutical research.
