Hello !

My name is Ankita Sharma and I would like to welcome you to my webpage. I am currently working as a research scholar at the Chemical Engineering department of IIT Kharagpur under the PMRF programme. I have successfully obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Jalandhar, Punjab. I have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, located in Himachal Pradesh.

I have always experienced a strong sense of excitement when engaging in focused research. Currently, I am working under the guidance of Prof. Jayanta Chakraborty from IIT Kharagpur and Prof. Anurag Tripathi from IIT Kanpur. I was introduced to granular flows and shown its significance in many industrial activities. Presently, I am engaged in studying the movement of fine powders via large-scale feeders in industrial settings and acquiring knowledge about the rheology of granular flows.

Awards and Honors: Recipient of the Gold Medal (NIT, Jalandhar) for highest rank in masters from the department of Chemical Engineering.
