Personal Statement:

I have a BA (Combined Studies), BA (Hons, Psychology), MA and PhD (Psychology), FHEA, FBPsS, and CPsychol. I taught at Cape Town and Rhodes Universities before the University of Leicester, where I was promoted to Reader in 1984 and Professor in 2000. My research interests are in judgment and decision making, game theory, experimental games, and psychometrics. I am currently the featured author for science and technology, Oxford Reference, and I am a special subject consultant for psychology for the Oxford English Dictionary. My teaching focuses on judgment and decision making and social psychology.
