Above are pictures of a personal project I worked on. My family's back screen door had a piece snap inside of it which caused the mesh screen to come loose and not be secured to anything. After some research, we couldn't find the part anywhere so instead of buying a whole new door, I figured I would make an attempt at coming up with a solution. I did not have my own 3D printer at the time so my Computer Aided Design professor allowed me to print it on his machine. All I could find was a picture of the piece and only could recover half of the broken piece. After trial and error, I successfully made a model that printed and fit well. This project saved us a lot of money by not making us have to buy a completely new door.
