Meet The Dulcicaster

Convert any guitar to a Dulcicaster for $5 by replacing the 1st string with a .008 G string and the 2nd string with a .012 D string

Play strings 1 thru 5 for an Extended Range GDG Dulcimer, or alternate playing 5th and 6th strings for bass

Play only strings 1, 2, and 3 to emulate a GDG Dulcimer

Play only strings 4, 5, and 6 with 5th string tuned to A for DAD Bass Dulcimer

Convert the Dulcicaster to open G by tuning the first string down to D & the second string back to B

....then tune the 1st string back to E & the 5th sting back to A to return to standard tuning
