FLIPPER is a joint multidisciplinary research unit at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) created in 2020 with members of the faculties of Physics, Pharmacy and Biology. It is dedicated to the study of the effects of radiation in human tissues, working towards the optimization of radiation therapy techniques including proton radiotherapy, FLASH (ultra-high dose rate radiotherapy), personalized medicine, and the combination of radiotherapy with inmune and chemo therapies.
