The goal of the proposed program will be to inform, educate, and provide life-learning skills to children facing mental health issues in California. To achieve this goal, the program will be guided by the following objectives
1. To improve the overall health and wellness of children facing mental health issues in California.
2. To increase diversion opportunities and initiatives for children facing mental health issues in California.
3. To promote community partnerships and collaborations to support children with mental illnesses in California.
Tribe – Refers to a social group consisting of families or communities with a shared culture and language. Our programs and activities will involve providing mental illness support to the communities that we serve.
Finity – This is derived from the word infinity and refers to something unlimited and endless. Our programs and activities will strive to be a reliable resource for all children suffering from mental health illnesses in California.
Tribe Finity believes that children deserve the best; therefore, we will conduct educational activities to meet our children's needs in every area of their lives. Our mission is to provide services and resources to children ages 0 to 17 with mental illness. We focus on cultivating the overall health and wellness of children suffering from mental health illnesses through physical, mental, financial, and emotional support as they journey through life.
Annetta Garrett founded Tribefinity in 2023, driven by hope, love, and understanding. With siblings, friends, and family members facing challenges in finding support and resources for mental health, I set out to create a foundation for programs that serve children, parents, and pregnant moms with school-aged children. This includes offering resources in nutrition, economic support, technology, and education to build valuable community networks for those in need.
Tribefinity emerged from a deep understanding of the necessity for mental health advocacy. As an older sibling of an autistic family member, I've seen the complexities of mental health firsthand, both personally and professionally. I recognize that addressing the needs of children and families regarding mental health diagnoses is not one-size-fits-all. Tribefinity needs to foster safe spaces for mental health, focusing on providing coping skills, nutritional guidance, advocacy, and educational resources.
I aim to create a platform where families with children can be heard and receive the support they need through advocacy, education, and innovation.
