Mr. Avianantos

Mr. Avianantos (known by all as Mr. A.) has been teaching 3rd grade at Cherokee Elementary since 2003. He grew up in the Scottsdale Unified School District by attending Pima Elementary/Middle School and then went on to graduate from Coronado High School. Mr. A. has a Business Management degree from Arizona State University. He returned to school a few years later to finish his course of study in Elementary Education. Along with his teaching certificate, Mr. A. also has both English as a Second Language and Early Childhood endorsements. In 2012, Mr. Avianantos was selected as Cherokee's Charros teacher of the year.
