About me

Hi!!

My name is Megan Durkin.

I was a PE aide in Summit in 2014 spending time teaching and learning at three schools in the district. From 2014- June 2021 I taught physical education at Academy 360 a private school for children with Autism. I loved my time teaching Adapted PE and learned so much.

I am happy to be back in Summit Public Schools. This is my second year at Linoln- Hubbard. I am a the Varsity Softball Coach at Summit High School and an Assistant Coach at Morristown- Beard School for girls ice hockey.

PE Overview & Curriculum

Students will learn and practice various sports skills and use them in game situations.

Soccer, Football, Basketball, Floor Hockey, Volleyball, Lacrosse, Kickball/ Baseball.

Students will also be introduced to circus activities, rock wall and speed stacking.


Sportsmanship and Communication are used everday in class and is encouraged in and outside of the gym.
