KS2 SNACK PLEA
IF YOUR KS2 CHILD WOULD LIKE A BREAKTIME SNACK, PLEASE COULD YOU ENSURE THEY BRING ONE TO SCHOOL WITH THEM. WE ARE PROVIDED WITH FRUIT FOR KS1, BUT SOME OF OUR OLDER CHILDREN ARE ASKING FOR THIS TOO. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS IS FOR KS1 ONLY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION.
Going green for the winter
Our Wednesday gardening club is growing apace. Overseen by green fingered Sally for many a year, the lunchtime club is the perfect place to learn about growing your own. The children have been saving their home grown seeds for replanting next year. They have also sown lots of slow growing crops, such as parsley, broccoli and rocket. Perfect crops for spring time harvesting.
DONATIONS GALORE FOR OUR HARVEST FESTIVAL ASSEMBLY
Here's a message from Tanya Blomley, our RE Co-ordinator, "I just wanted to say a big thank you on behalf of all the staff at St Stephen's to our parents and carers for your kind Harvest donations. We were absolutely blown away by your generosity and support. The amount of food donated to the Trussell Trust Food bank was phenomenal! Due to the All Souls branch being temporarily suspended, we dropped your donations to the Trussell Trust Richmond branch located at the Vineyard Community Centre. Paul, the site manager at the Richmond branch was incredibly touched by your generosity." Thank you to the St Stephen's Church team for a fabulous Tuesday Harvest Assembly.
