THANK YOU FOSS FOR OUR NEW SPORTS DAY BIBS

We are so delighted that FOSS has purchased house colour bibs for every child in the school for Sports Day. This is so fabulous. Thank you FOSS and all our parents for their generosity.

If you're a Waitrose shopper, you may have spotted our very own Miss Collins in the latest issue. Check out this link https://weekend-online.com/issue605/42/index.html She outlines some fabulous book choices to help our children cope with the diverse world we live in. Well done Miss Collins!

DIVERSITY WEEK

Oh what a week it was! Here's our PHSE Co-ordinator, Nicola Collins, outlining all the wonderful things we got up to during this glorious, diverse week. Take it away Miss Collins: "Last week, St Stephen's celebrated our annual Diversity Week. This year's theme was 'Challenging stereotypes - living outside the box'. It was an action packed week of talks, workshops, art, stories and discussions. The Year 5 and 6 children took part in a live interactive workshop with the author of The Secret Sunshine Project, Benjamin Dean. What a treat! They also learnt about the life of Ann Lister. Year 3 and 4 learnt about combating homophobia and gender stereotypes through what people wear. Year 1 and 2 enjoyed finding out about different types of families through the story of Grandad's Camper. And the Reception children delighted us with a mini Pride parade. Everyone enjoyed the rainbow dress up day! We hope the children enjoyed the week and learnt more about diversity!"
