I have always been a book worm, books are the the road to knowlege and wisdom!

Somewhere along that road I became a book reviewer.

I read a statistic that claimed over 150,000 new books are published each year in the US alone. The problem that faces a new author is how to get shelf space in the bookstore. The traditional bricks and mortar store would prefer to stock John Grisham than an unknown newcomer. I can understand the economics, but it is such a shame. There are so many great authors out there, all they need is an opportunity.
