1. Install Zotero to your Firefox Browser

1. Go to http://www.zotero.org/

2. Click the big red Download button at the top-right.



You’ll get a warning message that reads, “Firefox prevented this site (www.zotero.org) from asking you to install software on your computer.”

3. Click the Allow button to allow Zotero to be installed

A small window will pop up

4. Click the Install button when it becomes active.

A small pop-up window asks you to restart Firefox to complete your changes.

5. Click Restart Firefox button.

Congratulations! Zotero is now installed in your Firefox browser.

6. Switch on/off Zotero

a) You could see Zotero icon on the bottom right corner of your screen , by clicking the icon, you can switch on/off the Zotero interface.

b) You can add a Zotero to the top toolbar by following View -> Toolbars -> Customize and scroll down to find the Zotero icon  and drag it to the toolbar. The icon can also be used to switch on/off the Zotero inteface.

c) You can also open/close Zotero by following Tools -> Zotero or using short cut: Ctrl + Alt + Z.
